Marenco Limited
was established in 1984 when it was awarded the contract to build the jetties at Rodney Bay Marina in St. Lucia. In order to complete this project we constructed a self propelled barge, Kathryn, with a 30 ton pedestal crane. Over 300 piles were driven and pre-cast concrete decks placed.
Marenco Ltd has worked for the past twenty years throughout the Eastern Caribbean for governments, oil companies, and the private sector.
We have been involved in all aspects of marine construction from pile driving, the laying of pipelines and salvage work.
Marenco has continued to upgrade and diversify its equipment list Subsequently, in 1993 we converted a 120ft x 30ft barge into a self-propelled, live aboard work platform. The Sandman was launched in 1994 and with over 90ft of deck space and a 45 ton crane.
During the last 5 years Marenco has also completed various land based piling projects from sheet piling, bridge construction, cofferdam and caisson construction and foundation piling for several large buildings.
With an experienced personnel, and a large inventory of equipment we are able to mobilize anywhere in the Eastern Caribbean. Marenco Ltd is the company for all of your marine or land based construction requirements. |
